  1. Does anyone still have their “I’ve been train trained“ badge?!

  2. I have never seen this, however, The Young Ones taught me a similar lesson…

  3. The one I always remember is the electrocution picture.

Definitely effective, but probably wouldn’t get published today. I seem to remember actually being given this to read in school!

  4. Holy shit – this is genuinely why I have a paranoia about this. I recognised it instantly but had completely forgotten!

  5. THANK YOU. I tried explaining this booklet to my kids who looked at me like I had lost the plot. Couldn’t find it anywhere. Definitely feel vindicated.

  6. Key memory unlocked!

I really hope my parents still have this in the loft.

  7. Absolutely this image. I often wonder what happened to my copy of this ☹️

  8. NEVER DID ME ANY HARM

kids today dont know there born, would rather be on there phones watching woke nonsense ect ect

    /s

  9. Can you imagine giving it out now?? It worked on me, I’ve never crossed the yellow line once!

  10. Apparently this happened to a friend of a friend of a friend. Never knew if it was true. I should probably have assumed it wasn’t but who knows…

  11. I vaguely remember there was one about stress. It said something like to relieve stress, go to the end of the garden and scream. I think about it often, but never found the book again.

  12. A lot of TikTok creators need to heed this warning, I have seen several videos recently of them getting hurt or killed leaning out of trains for fake Internet points.

  13. I think about this everytime I see a train let alone get on one.

  14. It’s also a memorable scene from The Young Ones

  15. Hahahah, me and a good friend often quote and describe this book – it was brilliant. We snagged a copy from eBay about a decade ago. This is the stand out image but we also like the one of the locomotive barrelling down the track towards the little girl pulling her toys.

  16. I’ve never seen this before! I knew he had a dark sense of humour (I bet he’s parodying PIF’s of the day) but still…. 😮

  17. Awesome, i was trying to explain this book and this very photo to my wife barely a month ago. Instantly recognisable, my 90s childhood memory now refreshed.

  18. Having witnessed the aftermath of this kind of incident I’d agree.

    RIP Simon Brown

  19. Wow, haven’t seen this in decades, thanks for posting

  20. Looks like it knocked his head off before it even hit the tree.
