  2. Done. Just for clarity: this is an initiative that will make the Commission *make a proposal* to financially support countries to perform abortions that have already been approved. This would theoretically improve the medical procedures, but I suspect the money for those countries will go to slightly different places. This also does not mean more EU countries will make applying for abortion easier or even legal in the case of Malta.
