Drink size and temperature are a priority for all coffee drinkers what the fuck.
Seems like the coffee shop gave a reasonable reply here
What are you telling me you wanted your pizza…. warm??? Why didn’t you say so???
Nothing worse than getting a scalding cup of coffee
As America and Russia fuel up their nuclear missiles, its good to know that “the lighthearted lemon pastries match well with the new Brazilian roast coffee”.
(rolls eyes, heavy sigh)
Side note but I always wonder what the “extra hot” crowd think the barista can do for them. Especially in a takeaway cup.
A lot of the “nicer” independent coffee shops have been getting worse and worse at customer service tbh, more and more up their own holes.
Coffee should be served around 70-80c. Ideal is usually 78c (same as the evaporation point of alcohol.)
I don’t know what temp you got it but I’d suggest that when your buying a cup of joe from a gourmet coffee shop mention you want it extra hot. I say this as my mother like it around the same temp as tea, 85-95c.
They really aren’t being pretentious there bud, you made a statement and they offered a rebuttal. If they implied you didn’t know about coffee they’d be pretentious.
I mean, Picard has to order his tea, earl grey, hot out of a replicator so why shouldn’t a human barista have to be told the exact same thing for the coffee they’re overcharging for…
Whats a seasonal cake in this day and age.
I think the coffee shop come out of this ok, the bitch complaining not so much.
Further information: what did you order? Where do you typically buy coffee from?
