Daniel Zapf will take over as CEO of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg from 1 January 2025, the bank said in a statement on Thursday.
Zapf, who currently holds the position of deputy CEO with the Luxembourg branch, will replace Frank Rueckbrodt, who will return to the group’s headquarters in Frankfurt.
The newly appointed CEO will also be the chief country officer for Deutsche Bank Luxembourg.
Zapf has been employed by Deutsche Bank for the past 23 years, gathering experience in the group’s offices in Frankfurt, London and Amsterdam. He joined the management board of the Luxembourg branch in 2018.
