Recently discovered astrophotography mode on my phone, been trying it out.. Caught Santa on a test run.

  2. You can tell it’s a test run because he’s travelling in a straight line.

  3. Nice shot! That bright spot is Jupiter and the clump of stars to the right and up slightly are the Pleiades.

    I only know this because I was also outside taking photos!

  4. Lazy bastard is Father Christmas, works one day a year and just pisses about on holiday in Vegas the rest of the time. 

    His brother, Uncle Birthday, is out working every damn night. Sure he doesn’t have the same workload, but every damn night.

  8. Right through the Hyades! (that’s the vaguely triangular clump of stars; the bright one is Aldebaran and isn’t actually in the cluster).
