Yeah because Farage is gonna solve all our problems
What an article 5 months after somebody gets into No 10… what’s going on with you, The Guardian? New owners?
Looking forward to what Reform fans say about this article written by **Aditya Chakrabortty**.
the failures feed into Farage but anything they do well mysteriously doesnt offset Farage at all
strange that
almost like we have a nation who treat politics like a team sport and only want simple solutions to highly complex problems, and a news media that’s complicit in enabling the voices that seek to cause the greater population the most damage in favour of the top 1%s annual revenue
no government can fix 14 years of Tories in a single term, stability needs to be our aim and its going to take more than 6 months to get there and like it or not Labour was and still is the best bet, largely because they have an actual plan… not just a collection of catchphrases that offer no actual implementable solutions.
Farage could be replaced by a soundboard and a carboard cutout holding a pint. Im sure Clacton wouldnt notice the difference Why does the “political wildcard” always have to be some tosser who’d see us sink and has pretty much said as much out loud via his parties manifesto? If we had a more left wing candidate who was even a fraction as blatantly spouting shite as Farage is theyd be public enemy #1 lol
I think Starmer’s biggest failing is that he lacks charisma. He could say the grass is green and you’d probably doubt him. Farage will come along and say with conviction that its blue and people would believe him
So far I don’t really have any issues with Starmer. Going after pensioners and farmers hasn’t really lost him any voters from these Tory demographics anyway.
If anything he’s just a bit “meh”
Great news, Mr charisma Starmer broken every promise in his manifesto in a few months but it’s the Tory’s fault. Worst rating of a prime minister in years. You carry on blaming everyone except him if it makes you feel better
Everyone’s “supposed” failings play into the hands of Farage, a duplicitous charlatan who is a career complainer.
Its easy to offer simple solutions to complex problems when you know full well you will never have to deliver them……as was evidenced on Farage’s resignation from UKIP on the day after the Brexit Referendum. He knew full well he’d have to fuck off into obscurity for a spell otherwise even his most enthusiastic supporters would cotten onto the fact that he didn’t know what he was talking about and had no plan at all.
What failings are they then?
