Too early to speculate and of course this is a tragedy, but I’m convinced this will be another unnecessary sad death due to primarily alcohol poisoning.
I actually thought a few weeks ago that corona-measures ending would be dangerous for students & young people who like to get shit-faced drunk. I really noticed my alcohol tolerance has gone way down, but if I were 18-23 years old right now I really would not have cared and drank like I did pre-corona, and it would’ve ended somewhere between puking my guts out or much, much worse.

These student baptisms are the most pathetic student activities I have ever seen. What a bunch of losers – how on earth are these clown-like alcoholics intelligent enough for university?
They should be banned and their members expelled from university.

The limited information that’s given is the following:
* The student didn’t die during the hazing (as the title suggests), like what was the case with Sanda Dia, but he died in his sleep the night after the hazing.
* No alcohol was consumed during the hazing, the student did consume alcohol after the hazing (the amount isn’t disclosed).
Sorry, but I don’t really see how the hazing itself is too blame for this? If it was due to alcohol poisoning (which is not confirmed yet), it could as well have happened after a cantus, or a regular party, or any other event where alcohol is consumed.
Tragedie voor de ouders. Ongelooflijk dat die studenten onder elkaar weigeren in te zien dat bepaalde zaken te ver gaan.

Student groups that kill people need to be made an example of.
All the fils de papas from Reuzegom need to spend 10 real years in jail.
