Trump is already losing before he even takes office. This proves he doesn’t have the solid majority he thinks he does…

So here we go, let the games begin…
This will cause a shut down, 24 hours before all hell breaks loose.
Trump wants this, he could care less who’s hurt by his interference.
Elon Musk, who apparently is calling the shots now in our government, and President elect Trump, told Republicans to tank the bi-partisan funding bill and they did.
Trump wants to suspend the debt ceiling so he can spend as much money as he wants during his presidency. And Democrats and fiscal hawk Republicans said No.
Not even in office yet and Trump has plans to run up more federal debt, line the pockets of corporations and the rich with more tax cuts, and cut services and entitlements for working class Americans.
This is what we have to look forward to for the next four years. Musk Tweeted and threw a bomb into Congress.
President Biden, who has been silent on this fiasco, is smart to stay out of this self-inflicted wound by Trump and the Republicans.
Oh well. Republicans tried. Sometimes it seems like Democrats only exist to make improvements in life impossible.
Democrats focus on harming citizens (weirdly) while Republicans and their extraordinary partners focus on solving the toughest problems in America: The debt, our food, etc.
Headlines make it look like the Democrats tanked the “replacement” bill, which was ginned up after the Republican-led House reneged on the previously agreed-upon bipartisan bill. A more honest view of the vote would have been, “Dozens of House Republicans, Joined by the Democrats, Reject Trump’s Government Funding Plan.”
