    A lot of seasoned software engineers realized that with his Twitter take over when he was loudly complaining that the codebase needed to be rewritten from scratch and when trying to explain why it became abundantly clear that he had zero idea how it actually worked.

    It was relatively common knowledge that Tesla and SpaceX had infrastructure built in to manage Musk and his schizophrenic/manic management style where he demands instant changes in direction to work on problems he perceives as needing immediate fixes.

I don’t get it. What happened to everyone just hating every politician but looking into what policies theyd do. I’m sick and tired of people complaining how politicians are all corrupt but yet keep voting in the same motherfuckers EVERY DAMN TIME. These geriatric old Dems and Repubs aren’t Supreme Court justices. People vote them in there. Term limits apparently are needed because we can’t trust our countrymen to stop being dumb as rocks and spamming the same name into office like the Pelosis and McConnells.

    Everyday I understand our founders worries they wrote about the people fucking up our Democracy in their papers after we won our independence. They knew eventually people would fuck themselves over but they had no idea how to stop people from hurting themselves like little kids. I’m so done with this shit. Multi millionaires are so lucky they can choose whatever fucking country they’d like to take a sabbatical for a few years and then come back because that’s what I need. I want to go fuck off in Greenland and relax staring at snow all day with some bad bitch in some luxury home out there. Don’t get how these billionaires are so obsessed with more power with all the money they got. I’d be chilling living in different countries just having the time of my life letting my money work on its own. Learning how to paint or shoot guns all day in Switzerland or some shit.   22. Musk holds a lot of government contracts that will likely not get compensated during a shutdown. Most related to Space X would fall under the non essential category, for example, with the exception of ones that already have allocated funds.

    Sounds like the dumbass just found this out.

    Musk may technically the richest man in the world, but most of his quickly available assets come from being the US’s biggest welfare queen. He takes a ton of government funding. A large chunk of available credit would need to be used to keep his projects afloat while not getting compensated, which is going to greatly affect his ability to get liquid cash, unless he’s willing to let go of some assets/stocks. Since he’s a wealth hoarder, he is not. Add in an extended shutdown would come against Trump’s inauguration, which he pledged a ton of funding to and does need to keep Trump somewhat happy, and he stands a chance to lose his post election gains.

    Musks ego, though, will cause him to seek increased power. So he’s going to try and keep government influence as much as he can. He just doesn’t seem to have a full grasp on US politics or that breaking the current system can hurt him in a big way financially. Granted, big to him still probably leaves him much richer than half of the lowest income Americans combined
