  1. Not an army. Not soldiers, but armed drunkards, junkies, thieves, and rapists.

  2. And those two went on to form a loving relationship for the rest of their lives. For the next two days that is.

  3. For many, it’s their last drink.

They are only there to make up numbers.

They are definitely not soldiers, just drunks.

  4. They’re all gonna die, drink as if it’s your last because it will be.

  5. Let them have their fun..these Homeless will soon fertilize the land and feed the wildlife.

  6. Another “coping with trauma” situation. Will not last that long anyways.

  7. Shit I’d drink too if I was getting sent to my death by a dictator

  8. This is the only way they can make it through to the next meat wave, they have been indoctrinated into thinking there is no other way and that ultimately they have no power over their future

  9. The two dudes embracing are def sharing a sleeping bag!!!!

  10. Let’s be real here.

If YOU were sent (either willingly or most likely Unwillingly) to a place where death creeps every second of everyday and without proper resources.. would you also try to live your last moments happy?

I would and I’m not much of a drinker.

These humans know they’ve been sent to a meat grinder for Putin and his ego. How fucking awful this whole situation is. It doesn’t matter whose side you choose. War is hell.

  11. The west is so bad….whilst drinking Jack Daniel’s…. C*NTS!

  12. I can pretty much guarantee that if I found myself in that army, I’d be drunk off my ass at every opportunity too.

  13. Why are they drinking Jack Daniel’s and not vodka? Ukraine should drop a bunch of alcohol on the front lines for them get them hammered then slaughter then!

  14. Those 2 dudes having the heart to heart know they’re not coming back.

  15. Why is it in every video with a bunch of drunk Russian soldiers, there’s always two who can’t keep their hands off each other and seem to be much *closer* than the rest of the group?

  16. This shouldn’t be a hot take, but it’s awfully sad to see how even under the circumstances these solders are trying to carve small happy moments out for themselves.

I doubt these young men saw their lives panning out this way, and being sent to die needlessly in an oligarch’s war isn’t a fate I’d wish on anyone.

It’s easy to dehumanise these people, especially considering the atrocities of this war, but I think we ought to strive to remain empathetic of both sides, and direct our anger and outrage to the perpetrators of this war, and not its victims.

  17. I don’t blame em, poorest dudes just enjoying their last days

  18. Well if I was stuck in the Russian army in Ukraine, I would also drink myself shitfaced.
