1. trump doesn’t care about the economy, just what’s in it for him.

2. Strong economy being a very subjective and loose term in this crowd. Give me GDP in the neighborhood of 5% sustained, and then we’ll talk about strong economies. Until then, it’s the same global neoliberalism we’ve suffered under since the mid 1960’s and we’ll neither get out of debt nor pay for the services necessary for a healthy and thriving country.

3. i don’t know how any can classify a nation as “a strong economy” if it has

   1. unaffordable housing

   2. approximately 1MM people homeless and living in tents

   3. A national debt of $36 trillion ($100,000 per resident)

   4. 41,000 bridges and tunnels rated “unsafe”

   5. a social security trust fund with more withdrawals than income

5. Wow, Republicans have always had a unique ability to crash the economy, but Trump tops(trumps?) them all by crashing the economy before he even takes office. Truly impressive, good thing we didn’t elect the other boring party, who wants stability?
