Congrats. Guess i wouldn’t get that job because I needed few minutes only to understand this graph. Still I have no idea what those shapes in different colours in line mean.
A matter of experience in IT. For several senior positions we can’t find candidates. For Juniors without experience it is very hard though
Yeah I think finding yourself a job as an IT guy is hell here thats what I heard but I have no idea why is that.
IT, especially junior IT, not best sphere in the world right now with all that massive layoffs. It’s not represent situation on a market at all
I really dont think it is that hard to get a job even without experience, you simply had to develop some useful skills, do something more than nothing during university and have great cv
It goes with a lot of jobs like such, especially when you’re reaching out for them yourself.
They see/hear that you’re really interested and most of the times your own story regarding your working experience and background, are a good combination.
Not said that it won’t be asked if you’re reacting regarding a job that’s in a newspaper or such.
But the combination of reaching out yourself and your background gives/shines (in my opinion) a better light upon yourself.
I also went for another job during the first year of Corona, while people were send away from that company because of less work.
But in the end (1,5 month since my first conversation with the people in charge over there) they took me in, as I wanted to work there myself + I had capabilities they were looking for…even for me without knowing they were looking for such without any advertisement.
Companies right now don’t want seniors, juniors, …nobody.
They are moving to cheaper countries.
IT golden age is over in Poland I’m afraid.
Damn did someone track my job search without me knowing?
The best part is that when you finally get a job it’s only to be let go again without cause after a maximum of 6 months because they don’t wanna give out long contracts
I think this is very much an IT thing, I dont think this applies as much to fields like engineering.
Got my first and current job as first CVs that I sent. But it might be only about my profession. 22yo, welder, steel worker, acrobat(idk how to translate “spawacz, ślusarz, akrobata”) in mining industry doing renovation of conveyors or any other necessary things from scratch
Holy shit and I complained about my situation. Got two offers after 3 months applying in Germany.
Pracuj is good to search for offers. When you want to apply, google the actual offer on the employer’s page. On Pracuj (afaiu) they have to pay to open, so they might not even see your application
Not from Poland, but this is similar everywhere. Hence I have long stopped applying myself, what happens for me usually is that recruiter gets in touch and offers to change work and you jsut basically need to say you are interested… and this results into interview/job offer almost every time.
The reason why that is the case… I believe recruiters cut trough automatic review process. Basically when you make application it does not go to the company that is hiring, but some sort of algorithm reviews the CVs. 99% of CVs are never seen by human at all… and even when they are, another 99% are reviewed for few seconds and thrown out based on subjective reasons.
However, when recruiter contacts you, they already have a job that suits your experience, so you are already 99.99% ahead of wasting time filling repetitive questions in application that are already are answered by your CV. Also you application goes directly to the company that is hiring without further processing. It is not 100%, in fact recently it seems there was significant slump in the market (in Western Europe at least and there is more competition). But we talking about like 30-50% chance to get the job, compared to 0.01% by applying yourself.
I was expecting „ended in fluffer” at the end of this graph
