Ukraine and Russia have exchanged parcels and letters for prisoners of war (POWs). The Ukrainian Parliamentary Human Rights Commissioner’s Office has also provided lists of prisoners of war during the exchange.

Details: The meeting in Belarus between Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine’s Parliamentary Human Rights Commissioner, and his Russian counterpart Tatyana Moskalkova was facilitated by the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Ukraine handed over lists of POWs (the parties discussed their verification) and lists of illegally detained civilians.

The exchange also included parcels and letters for POWs, with Ukraine providing 1,500 packages of warm clothes and essential items.

Additionally, the bodies of fallen soldiers were repatriated.
Lubinets and Moskalkova discussed further cooperation on the exchange of POWs and civilians, as well as ways to address ongoing humanitarian concerns.
