A TikTok ban in the US would not affect the app’s use in Ireland or Europe, its most senior Irish executive says.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, the company’s Ireland boss and head of privacy in Europe, Elaine Fox, also played down any negative effects of a potential US ban on the company’s 3,000-strong Irish operation, and said the company believes the proposed American ban will be rejected by an emergency hearing in the US Supreme Court.
