  1. Can someone please send explain to a newcomer why I shouldn’t just hit Wetherspoons all the time?

  2. Did they spend all of 10 minutes researching this or something? There’s probably 10x as many pubs as this in central, I can name a dozen more just off the top of my head.

  3. You can add The Lord Nelson by Southwark tube station on Union Street. Their house lager is £5.20 or £4 with a Blue Light card or student ID.

  4. Don’t tell, or they’ll become places where it costs a tenner

  5. The Manor Arms on East India Dock. Amsterdam or Stella for £4.40 each. Cash only. No questions

  6. Now I need TimeOut to make one for every pub where they don’t blast out music, so I can actually chat to the people I’m with.

  7. My workmate has released an app with this exact purpose Pintly, you can check out on instagram/tik tok good app for finding pints in london and other cities!

  8. Because the scarecrow that owns and runs Spoons is a Brexity Tory?

  9. I don’t drink alcohol but.. you guys are paying over £6 for a pint? That sounds extortionate!! Like I know you go to pubs for the atmosphere etc. but isn’t supermarket booze so much cheaper? At these prices doesn’t it make more sense to just hang out with friends at someone’s home with booze from the supermarket?
