Princess Beatrice cut a stylish figure in London this evening as she stepped out in an all-black ensemble featuring a tuxedo jacket.

The royal, 36, who is pregnant with her second child, was in good company alongside Emma Weymouth, Marchioness of Bath, at a festive event hosted by designer brand Ralph Lauren.

Beatrice looked chic in a black tuxedo jacket complete with satin lapels, which she wore over a black midi dress.

She teamed her demure outfit with a pair of black, pointed toe heels with a delicate ankle strap and carried a small, black clutch bag.

The princess wore her light brown hair in a classic blow dry and kept her make-up simple for the occasion.

She brightened her radiant complexion with a slick of lipstick and added subtle eyeliner and eyeshadow to bring out her eyes.

The King’s niece appeared not to be wearing any jewellery besides her shimmering wedding ring.

Meanwhile, Emma Weymouth, 38, also chose a monochrome theme for her outing this evening.

Arriving in a stylish, black and white baseball jacket, the Marchioness of Bath soon removed it to reveal a white silk skirt with a dramatic train.

Prepared for the cold London weather, she added a cropped, cable knit sweater at one point during the evening.

Emma accessorised her ensemble with a small, black handbag and let her outfit speak for itself by keeping jewellery to a minimum. She appeared to be wearing only a pair of white pearl earrings.

Like Beatrice, Emma wore her hair loose, in a blow dry, and looked particularly radiant with a hint of pink blusher on her cheeks and shiny lip gloss.

The festive event likely took place at Ralph Lauren’s flagship store on New Bond Street in central London.

Earlier this month, Princess Beatrice opened up about her family life and admitted that there ‘is not a lot of time to make it all perfect all the time’.

The King’s niece told Hello! magazine how she now understands the ‘importance of choosing small, effective tools for balance’.

Her comments came as she praised her BFF and London-based celebrity nutritionist Gabriela Peacock, who equally heaped approval on her royal pal, saying: ‘Bea is incredibly health conscious already and she’s very good with what she eats.’

Speaking to the publication, Beatrice said: ‘My favourite thing I have learnt from Gabriela is the importance of choosing small, effective tools for balance.

‘When you are growing families, sometimes there is not a lot of time to make it all perfect all the time, so with Gabriela’s help I have been able to add a few things to try that help me and my family feel good and prioritise our health.’

Gabriela, 45, who is also pregnant, added: ‘The most wonderful thing about our friendship is how honest we can be with each other, especially about health and wellness but also about motherhood and now pregnancy.’

When Beatrice announced her second pregnancy on October 1, Buckingham Palace issued a statement which read: ‘Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.

‘His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.’

Two new pictures from the family were shared to mark the announcement, with one showing blonde-haired Sienna from behind as she walks along a country lane, holding hands in the middle of her father and big brother Wolfie.

The youngster, with a red bow in her hair, is kitted out in bright yellow wellies and an all-in-one blue waterproof puddlesuit decorated with cloud and bird motifs.

In another picture, an overjoyed Beatrice – wearing a black puffer jacket – smiles at the camera, while being embraced by her husband, who is gazing at his wife.

The grandchild will be a great niece or nephew to the King, and a second cousin of Prince George, Louis and Princess Charlotte.

He or she will also be Prince Andrew’s fourth grandchild, as Princess Eugenie has two children, August and Ernest Brooksbank.

The baby, who will not be an HRH, will be born 11th in line to the throne, with Beatrice’s younger sister Princess Eugenie moving down to 12th place.

He or she will also be the 14th great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II, and the second to be born since her death in 2022, following the arrival of Eugenie’s second child Ernest last year.
