> as the match went right down to the wife but she ultimately prevailed
Interesting typo in an article about a program dedicated to words
TIL that 1998 was 26 years ago.
*collapses*
The thing that gets me, is that there is this idea that woman apply in lower numbers than men.
But surely even if there a low number of female applicants, there have been enough to have two women compete against each other at some point, and one of them would then have won, giving us a female champ.
How can this scenario not have happened for 26 years??
She’s also very funny
Do they still give out that teapot?
Why did no women win in all that time
My mind is blown no women has won this for TWENTY SIX YEARS
