>The Salem’s Lot actor, 74, announced Bakst’s death in a touching tribute written alongside a throwback photo of the two holding coffee mugs on their wedding morning on May 6, 1978.
>In the tribute, shared on Facebook on Thursday, Dec. 19, the Roswell star wrote: “Early yesterday morning, my wife, Marni Bakst, finally lost her two year battle with cancer. After what has been an amazing forty five years of marriage I don’t think I can fathom or put into words much of this yet.”
>”Maybe with time and a little distance I’ll find it easier to describe this extraordinary artist, feminist, wife, and mother, but for now I want to thank you all for your patience and kind words. Yours, Bill,” the post read.
Stay strong Bill.
He is the one who made Section 31 so incredible in Star Trek DS9 (and which every other Trek show has abysmally failed to achieve afterwards). Very sad to hear this.
Rest in peace, but I’m sorry making this joke: you may be a king or a lowly street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with the reaper! Get down with yourbad self!
So let’s bug him for a comment after his decades long wife dies. Why are the media and humans so horrible.
I was born the week of their marriage, that was a whole me ago.
Such a sad day. Have always loved watching his work and felt he was a really good person deep down. Respect and condolences to him.
