Had a terrible couple of weeks with pain levels and now that I’m off work for Christmas it seems to have gotten worse not better. Appointment on the 30th, hoping for formal diagnosis and pain management plan.
On the bright side it has almost certainly gotten worse due to rushing around getting the house sorted and gifts sorted etc. and I am now finished with all that so hopefully a gentle day today will help ease it a little. Tough if it doesn’t really as it is my one day of respite as tomorrow I begin the food prep (baking tomorrow, rest of food Christmas eve, no cooking Christmas day as it will all be there in buffet form).
So today’s plan is festive cooking shows, leftover curry, check the Tesco click and collect order for tomorrow morning, and tonight the death in paradise Christmas special!
Fuck all! Inadvertently discovered that Aldi opened an hour earlier than usual yesterday so it was gloriously empty at 07.30, swanned round and all shopping done. Then had a fit of the efficient, wrote and posted all cards, wrapped all presents. Christmas sorted in approx 1.5 hrs total. Spent the rest of the day reading, plan more of that today. Nice.
