    If I understand this rightly, Trump is proposing to buy Bitcoin at its peak value, to essentially try and tether the USD to Bitcoin.

    But like, how does that work long term in practice?

    Surely it would be safer to just fund a massive mining facility the world has never seen before to just mine coin?

  11. As a non American I’d be happy with this, if him fucking up the American economy actually weakened the dollar against my own currency.

    But with the way markets work, the worse the American economy the more capital flows actually flow back to it.

  13. Good idea, change the currency and eliminate the dollar so everybody in the cuntry is left holding the bag while the oligarchs run of with the only means of exchange. There is nothing like a good ol’ civil war.
