So I traveled to from Germany to Kuwait and I tried opening my Sparkasse app today and it won’t update or refresh my account. My balance is stuck on the same number it was on Wednesday before I traveled. It keeps giving me this message.

Does Sparkasse app work overseas? Is it only a temporary error that happens sometimes? I still need to be able to use it on holiday and I hope this is just an issue with the app right now…

  1. Sparkasse employee here – check your OS for updates (especially IOS). If it doesn’t help, just reinstall the app – u only need your Anmeldename and Online-Banking PIN.

    PLEASE don’t uninstall the pushTAN App tho.

    If this doesn’t help either just call your bank and ask if your Online-Banking is blocked.
