I’m glad you clarified that. I thought that was St Peter buying a ticket from the machine.
Canonbury has four platforms but only three ticket gates.
Are there any others that are gated which have more platforms than gates?
One of my GCSE English essays was based on Canonbury station.
I grew up on the estate across the road and we didn’t have much. I wrote about how as I grew up the station was a portal to a better world, places like Kew Gardens and Hampstead. I explained how our dad would take us and our bikes to ride around Hampstead Heath and our mum taking us up Parliament Hill to fly kites
I have very fond memories of it. Thanks for posting
