Sudanese authorities have officially rejected Russia’s request for a naval presence in Port Sudan, despite Moscow’s offer to provide the S-400 missile defence system and 50% of Sudan’s oil.

either way, fuck russia, fuck their ports, fuck the s400, and fuck their economy
Libya, Sudan… They’re really desperate.
Sudanese authorities remember what happened to Crimea.
JFC: they are beggars without borders.
Delivery time on that S-400 measured in decades.
Very wise, even if the S-400s were actually delivered it would be years with the way the war is going in Ukraine and it would basically mean alienating all western aid in return for air defences worse than the last generation of western models.
If only Turkey had the same foresight when they chose S-400 over the F-35 programme.
Just take your ships back to Murmansk already…
Up next, Equatorial Guinea 😂
Moscow offers to give Sudan 50% of Sudan’s oil? Did I read that right?
TIL Sudan has a coast.
You know you fell off when even Sudan spurns your offer.
Absolute chads.
the west will have the most amazing, simple way to expand their influence and they will sit on their ass and do nothing
Weren’t the Russians supporting the Sudanese rebels with Wagner before?
This is great, because as well as Libya, Sudan was also a deep concern for Russia setting up the Captagon Racket. Sudan has horrible internal problems, mostly thanks to Russia.
Libya is troubled, but I’m pretty sure after seeing Russia’s pure uselessness in Syria, the country feels a lot less intimidated – the Benghazi government in particular will be feeling uncomfortable right not – and is not going to let Russia just sit on all their oil unchecked.
Moscow’s offer to provide 50% of Sudan’s oil. So the Russians are offering Sudan 50% of their own oil for the Privledge to allow Russia to have a navel base in their own country so they can cause more conflict in an unstable nation? Sounds like a good deal to me!
50% of Sudan’s oil what does that mean
