It would be weird being in one of the high up rooms, waving at your friend in one of the low down rooms, and knowing you have ten minute walk to meet him in his room for an aperitif.
Is it me or does it look like the entrance to the biggest city in The Witcher 3?
What’s with the stupid reflection?
Do they have tapestries?
Beautiful castle, terrible photoshop.
That awful photoshop though. It’s amazing without any photo-editing, just show it as it is FFS.
Castle looks better from the outside than from inside. I was there a few month ago. It’s not very authentically just a collection of old things from every century since it was build.
Wow!!
Burg Eltz was on the back of the 500DM bill, that’s why the Germans are so connected to it
You could have put more work into the photoshopped part right to the entrance. Looks blurry and seems like you ducked up the geometry.
Really looks like this csgo map (not cobblestone but some other castle map from an old operation). I suppose it’s based on this?
You realise you can post pictures of Central Europe without photoshopping it to look like something out of Witcher 3, right?
Is this really in Germany though? I’m thinking it might be somewhere Eltz..

Fake reflection ruins the photo.
Whereabouts is this in Germany?

Looks pretty hard to besiege
Coincidentally i used a dark, misty picture of this place as a vampire’s castle in my D&D campaign this week, without knowing where it was.
It seems far less threatening when you know it has a shuttle bus that takes you to the restaurant.
Is this the castle where American and wehrmarch fought together Agenda SS troops
Why do I always start hearing Castlevania music in my head every time I see pictures like this?
Double down on the reflection though. I get how it’d look in concept, but the execution was just sloppy. Would be better off without it.
Hogwarts?
Is that by any chance the castle from an episode of ‘young Indiana jones’? I always wonder that when this castle comes by on Reddit…
Now that’s something Eltz!
Why the fake reflection?
Germany has some of the most awesome castles it’s nice that they escaped the bombing in WW2
Beautiful sight.
Welcome to castle Wolfenstein
The castle looks so cool with the fog.
