1. Awful for them and their families but it’s worth remembering that these aren’t nice countries and you should avoid them or be very careful when visiting.

2. I’ve found it’s a pretty good test of character to ask someone, “Have you ever been to Dubai and what did you think of it.”.

5. Are you telling me that brits can’t go abroad and impose their traditions and way of life in other countries?

   There are lots of people who will actually die at Christmas and it’s nothing to do with decisions they made so…

8. I lived with a weed dealer, a very big weed dealer for a year in Melbourne. Weed on tap basically. When I moved home, my layover was in Qatar.

   What the fuck was I thinking. Jesus. Makes me cringe to this day, I was so lucky – there was weed dust in the crevices when I unpacked my bags at home. I think a grinder must have been in the bag at some point and came apart. Or my flatmate was a psycho… Either or.
