Moldova turns to Poland for gas amid tensions with Russia

  1. With alternate gas and electricity transmission methods/lines, the energy market in Europe is getting a huge shake-up. From new pipelines and LNG terminals to new electric transmission lines, energy will never be the same again.

  2. They turn…. To Poland…. For gas…. While Poland itself is about to have problems with gas supply. Amazing decision.

  3. Moldova has been turning towards Europe for some time now, glad they finally have the guts with the new government.

Hope the new government can improve some of their living standards!

  4. So Poland are selling Russian gas to Moldova.

    Poland
has taken steps to reduce its reliance on Russian gas supplies by
buying LNG from Qatar, the United States and elsewhere. PGNiG has on
many occasions said it will not extend its current contract with
Russia’s Gazprom when it expires in 2022.

However its currently buying from Gazprom and reselling to Moldova, funny how its all acting out.

And after 2022, expensive LNG will be replacing cheaper Russian gas, I wonder who is actually manipulating world market prices.
