And my great granpa (her father) had Bulgarian passport,id card and finished school during Bulgarian rule,is he still bulgarian citizen and where i can prove that they had it? (All of their personal documents are burned,in Bulgarian archives they dont have church document,in Macedonia they have register but they dont allow to take original and they only gave information.

  1. What do you need Bulgarian citizenship for if you’re not a Bulgarian? Do you plan to move to Bulgaria and work? 😏

  2. You need to go to the village where they were born and ask from the bishop if they have their birth certificate based on that you can but it’s very hard with the new 2021 rules.

  3. You just need to go to Bulgaria, wait in line, and tell the lady that you feel Bulgarian and that you feel like subtly giving her 300 euros in a folded piece of paper. Good luck.

  4. The easiest route- Live in Bulgaria for a few months, get a good lawyer, find your documents and stay in Bulgaria for a few more months. (Said by a friend of mine who is a immigration lawyer)

  5. Бе оправяйте си се във вашата си държавица да влезете в ЕС. Аман от навлеци.
