Warwickshire Police secret deal with the Warwickshire Hunt to avoid going to court

1. This is what happens after so long of Tories. Some slimy Tory has been installed at the top of everywhere and they make little Tory decisions in our public services.

2. About 10 years ago I used to rent a cottage on a farm in Warwickshire that happened to run a big livery. These faux-toff Hunt types would be in and out all the time in their discoveries and freelanders with fox hunting bumper stickers and Hunt paraphernalia. They were the most obnoxious people, they’d shove bags of rubbish in our dustbins and recycling, they’d block our drive, if they were coming up the track when you were trying to leave the house they would sit there and wait for you to reverse all the way back up the drive and out of their way because they felt they owned the place. They would loudly circle jerk each other in the yard about all terrible drivers who had endangered them on the road that day. They’d rock up at the village pub at the end of the hunt, on their horses, in their costumes with their bugles and they’d order out trays of Chablis so they could have a glass of wine without having to dismount. Genuinely, that one sounds mental but they would. The galling thing, which relates to this article, is how brazen they were about the whole thing. There was zero doubt that they were still fox hunting despite it being against the law, they would advertise it loud and proud, and the local police never did a thing. They clearly knew the right people in the right places to get away without being hassled.

3. Good. The police should be focussed on actual crimes that affect people. It’s insane that the government is banning all vestiges of traditional English rural life.

4. They’re the same everywhere in this country. Posh thugs who act like they’re above the law, and frankly, they are!

   They drink drive.
   They assault people.
   They abuse their animals horrifically.
   They destroy both countryside and people’s property.
   They use strong arm tactics to coerce and intimidate those around them.

   They’re honestly disgusting, horrible people, and if they didn’t have money, they’d be arrested immediately. In cities, you get teenage scrotes riding around on quad bikes and whatnot, being little shit bags. Imagine that, but they’re in their 50’s and 60’s, riding horses through your back garden and beating both man and animal alike.

5. Under what legislation are the police allowed to keep this secret? Ridiculous, even all the other police forces say this looks bent.

6. This should be bigger news than it is:

   Over the same time period, he has coincidentally had a nail inserted in the tyre of his car and graffiti daubed on his house. He doesn’t know who is responsible or why, but it is clear that somebody is targeting the MP.

   vile people running those hunts. I don’t care if it’s farage or anyone, you can’t be doing this to an elected representative.

7. This goes well beyond the standard police “find the excuse to do nothing and pursue that with more energy and resources than it would’ve taken to solve the crime in the first place”. The fact that someone feels enough impunity to drive at a Channel 4 news camera operator tells you all you need to know.

8. The fact that Channel 4 are door stepping these people is a positive thing

11. I got caught in a stolen vehicle whilst transporting 5kg of cocaine to a brothel. In court i invoked the Warwickshire Hunt protocol as my defense and got let off with a caution.
