> On Sunday, March 6th, there are two Ryanair flights operating from Warsaw to Dublin. The first, at 11.25am, costs €260 without checked-in baggage, while a later flight, at 21.45, **costs €361**. Both flights were booked out by noon on Thursday.
> The following Sunday, March 13th, the cost of the same journey is €21 and **€27** respectively.
Absolute scum but they’re good at capitalism I suppose.
I know that raising cost of fuel is partially to blame but I just cannot shake the feeling that there is a good bit of taking advantage of others misfortune. Let’s not be like that.
There’s a very special corner seat in hell for people who make a pricing decision like this.
Sorry but Ryanair is a business and not a charity
I have said it before during the pandemic: Michael O’Leary would take his planes off on a runway of dead bodies if it meant profit to him. This is just another example.
Flights to Warsaw are going for 21.99 on Ryanair for this weekend and pretty much all of next week.
That’s because they were the last few seats on the plane, which are always far more expensive. There’s a flight on Wednesday for €180 and on Thursday for €22. But that doesn’t generate outrage from the “rYaNaIr bAd” crew.

13 euro?? Jaysus, extortion
I bet they are cleaning up with the overweight luggage too
Comrade O’Leary cashing in on others misfortunes per usual
Disappointed but not surprised
I imagine that, at least partially, this is automated. Prices will be adjusted automatically based on demand. Hopefully Ryanair take the right steps to rectify that.
As the availability of seats goes down on a plane, the price goes up. That’s how fares work. Ryanair likely just didn’t purposely make their fares cheaper. Can’t blame them entirely for their inaction.
Would be way worse if they made their flights more expensive on purpose like most people in the comments reckon they did.
Opportunism from a war.
Hope Ryanair get in some stink for this though I doubt it. I’m not one of those people that hate Ryanair but this is extremely scummy.
Supply and demand baby
This seems a bit of a non story.
Ryanair always jack up the prices of the last few seats. They’ve never used fixed prices.
Sure… Michael isn’t one to shy from a chance to make a few bob!
(Just like I’m not one to miss a chance to throw a bit of shite in his direction. :D)
Can we stop talking about these scum just giving them what they want every single time.
Hope Michael o Leary gets a stroke
Hi, my name is Oleksandr and I’ve just lost my job!) I am a student, studying foreign languages in Kyiv. I lost my job, because of this disgusting war; many children are trying to save their lives now and studying new languages doesn’t interest them at all. So, I decided to go international. I am a native Ukrainian and Russian speaker; I have passed Ukrainian Proficiency test and scored 193/200 points; my English level is C1. If you are interested in studying Ukrainian or Russian, feel free to write me a direct message. I will be pleased by any respond. I can send you my certifications if you need them.

Prices early next week are grand.
Scum.
Also where are the idiots from [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/comments/stteyr/ryanair_acting_like_wendys_twitter/) last month were calling ryanair saviours for ‘bringing travel to the working classes’.
I bought my tickets to Poland in January.
