Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence posted a remark about the ship:

It is not fully clear if the ship was going to Syria to assist in evacuation of russian bases there. Some reports suggest it was heading to Vladivostok:

Still, a major blow back for russian marine transport capabilities.

  1. Based on earlier report of a fuel line problem, this may really have been a smoking accident!

  2. Why are Russian shop made with a stopper in the hull? Why are the stoppers be pulled out?

  3. God only knows how much this war will cost Russia by the time it’s over.

  4. Christ how many tankers and cargo ships does Russia have? They lost like 5 total in the past week. That would cripple other countries logistics with the exception of the US and China.

  5. Oh no, anyway…

Why was it even allowed to cross near Spain?

  6. Darn it. Awww shucks. By that. I mean. Good. God speed to the depths of the ocean scumbags

  7. Gives you a better sense of the scale of logistics in World War 2 to think about the US building over 2,700 liberty ships, each one was at least 50% as capable of delivering cargo as this ship.
At any rate I’m glad it’s gone. Slava Ukraini.

  8. These ships are environmental bombs. No inspections, hardly any upkeep.

  9. Russia has renamed the cargo ship Undera Mediterraneanor

  10. Honestly what is going on. Is Russia winning these on purpose?

  11. The ships of the mighty ruZZian federation have joined the party and are committing suicide by sinking or feigning damage.
