  2. I honestly and totally dislike Salvini and as Italian I feel like he shouldn’t even be a politician but, that’s a little bit too disrespectful considering every single leader meet Putin and most of countries in Europe had business with him.

    Polish politicians need to begin calling out Orban publicly and loudly however. The biggest Putin puppet in Europe that still has the gall to delay and contradict a united European front whenever possible, while leading the nation that experienced the horrors of 1956. It’s appalling.

  13. Same with Le Pen is France over the past few years they built a relationship with Putin and Russia and now in elections will come back to haunt them. It may finish their political careers but on the other hand their voters will turn to more extreme candidates who operate in the space, in this case Zemmour and Meloni.

  17. I would consider him right wing populist rather than far-right.He’s not stupid, he just has no moral values: his entire pro-Putin views were bought with Russian money….he’s basically an advertising board leading a major Italian party.

    The sad thing is that Lega voters are realizing that he’s a clown but instead of avoiding people like him most of lega ex-voters are shifting to Meloni which is basically a more fascist version of Salvini.
    And this fact tells you that a lot of Italians believe that the country needs a “strong man/woman” at the head of the government because only a strong man/woman (like Putin) can fix things; for this reason I won’t be surprised if FdI (Meloni) becomes the most voted party at the next elections.
