  4. Blake was in a higher position to attempt to protect herself and staff members on set from his behavior. She was not the only one affected by his harassment as evidenced by the lawsuit. So many women on set were uncomfortable with his behavior. The production even had a written meeting and signed agreement with him to address his indiscretions and to stop them. No wonder Ryan was present and stepped in to rewrite some of the sexual scenes. Sony came to an agreement with anyone working on the movie to not focus on DV aspect because they wanted to keep his harassment under wraps, but since Justin knew this lawsuit was coming, he went rogue to make himself look like a saint while everyone else looked bad. With all the evidence piling up, there’s no way the studio can support that man. If this is any indication to always always always document in the work place, because it can save your ass like it did with Blake and bite you in the butt like it did with Justin.

  7. The smear campaign against her worked. It’s done incredible damage to her reputation. I’m in many crew groups across social media and the vile things people are saying about her, especially other women, are insane. Like, sure, she might be imperfect and unlikable, but goddamn she didn’t deserve ANY of this. The stuff this man did on and off set was absolutely unacceptable, yet somehow SHE’S at fault? I do not get it.

  12. Everything I’ve seen from the recent coverage indicates the *fucking director* of a film about domestic abuse and sexual assault was sexually inappropriate.

    Women should be able to exist and work without being harassed. Full stop.
