Stek i plast stekepose?

  1. I got this Krydret Tynnribbe early (don’t mind the best før date, it’s been in the freezer since I bought it).

I read the instructions and also looked it up on Kiwi’s web site (https://kiwi.no/tema/jul/ribbe/slik-steker-du-folkets-ribbe-og-ribbenstek-i-stekepose/).

My question is: do I really include the plastic wrapper in the oven at 220°C? Plastic and high temperatures, one of them has to go away, right? I have even now eliminated use of non-stick frying pans. I can’t imagine baking plastic together with my food.

For further reference (sorry, [tiktok video](https://www.tiktok.com/@bare.jim/video/7311001855620893985)), one of the commenters remarked, “Kjøper ribbe i stekepose for å ta den ut av stekeposen 🤷🏻‍♂️🙈😅”

  2. Stekepose/oven bag is not made of ordinary plastic. It’s made of PET plastic that can deal with temperatures up to 250 degrees.

Follow the instructions and you will be fine.
