On December 23, the American RQ-4B Global Hawk strategic reconnaissance drone flew over Poland and Lithuania, near the Kaliningrad region of Russia. Launched from the Sigonella Airbase in Italy, the drone’s flight lasted 17 hours, circling the Suwalki Corridor and returning to its base. The mission was carried out under NATO’s auspices. This follows a similar mission in June over the Black Sea near Crimea, prior to a Ukrainian attack on Sevastopol. Click to know more.
