UK says that it will back Poland whatever it chooses but will not send jets on their own and advise against this decision. Without the full NATO support there is no way Poland alone will expose itself, to test the waters.
Instead of agonising over a few fighter aircraft, one should rather contribute to a fund from which purchases of NVGs, rations, helmets and body armour are financed. That’d probably be more helpful.

I don’t know… Russia said that this would be a declaration of war if I remember correctly, so It’s a hard decision, I think the best would be if the strongest country in the world (USA) takes responsibility for this instead of Poland. Basically USA buys the jets from Poland and then sends them to Ukraine.
I don’t think that Poland should be used as a trigger for WW3, and maybe if the USA does this Russia will be a bit scarred to start WW3.

Why would we trust UK? They are not accepting any refugees. They have given oligarchs 18 months to flee. They seem unreliable in these times.
From a legal POV, I don’t see any difference between arms like Javelins, Stingers and MIGs. But the jets, like other arms, have to be operated by Ukrainians and land on an airfield in Ukraine, not in Romania or Poland, that’s all.
If they land on an airfield in a foreign country, Russia will consider them as a participant in the war, which is logic.
If Ukraine wants to operate these jets, they must be able to protect their airfields with highly capable anti-aircraft batteries. So these jets are certainly just a part of a much broader arms delivery effort.
That said, nobody will talk about these things. They will probably even say the whole operation has been cancelled.

UK will back Poland up, USA gives Poland green light… Is it too far for them military giants to do it themselves? They can kindly fuck off, hopefullly Poland is done being the poor cousin trying to impress those smartasses.
How about UK/US buys those planes and then gives them to Ukraine?
Yeah, I’m a coward. But maybe it would be better if a nuclear power was a direct supplier of those planes.
