  1. The sound and shockwave from the gun blew the tiles off the roof and they weren’t using any ear protection at all.

  2. The film is absolutely fantastic, and I heavily recommend to all my friends who are interested in history to watch it!

  3. No ear protection or people taking selfies. Just real men living in the moment

  4. The VA has determined your hearing loss is not service-related

  5. Still haven’t gotten to watch this yet, definitely on my list for awhile

  6. The documentary about the making of this documentary is 100% worth your time too

  7. digital enhancement and colourisation needs to die. ruins virtually everything it touches and is totally unnecessary.

  8. I remember watching Apocalypses WW1 when I was a teenager and that fucked me up so much. Especially ep3 with all horrifying injuries on the display and how pointless this war was.

  9. I wonder how they localized enemy batteries and fired counter batteries. Plus with the accuracy back then how did they hit their targets without having all the enemy run to cover?
