Yep. Fines should be means tested. Punishment should be equitable not equal. 5 years in prison is 5 years in prison. Rich or poor, it’s 5 years. But a £150 fine to a rich person is nothing, whereas to somebody on minimum wage it can cause a LOT of damage.
