    The world would have been very different if the financial crisis hadn’t happened.

  7. Denmark has aided the US in almost everything for several decades, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, espionage, etc.

    If Trump wants to set up more missile detection stations or naval bases on Greenland, all he would have to do is ask. It really shows his mindset, when he wants to take things and land away from his country’s lifelong allies.

  16. Average American here! the US historically has an expansionist/isolationist cycle typically tied closely to the health of the economy and immigrant wave incoming. I thought trump would begin an isolationist cycle with his pull out of nato, ukraine, and use tariffs to get his way. Instead, it seems he might go uno reverse and overdrive the current expansionist globalist age into a true imperialist age.

    Sorry for this social foux pas. In my defense, I voted kamala for this reason. If this does go imperialist, which I suspect it might, then europe might have to confront the worst possible outcome, the US as an enemy.

    Right now, the world looks very carvable to the great powers, so I’d suggest federalization ASAP. If not, welcome to the United Empire of America friends!
