The Tories: “Nothing to see here chaps. Now to delay, deflect and dither: Didn’t Comrade Corbyn have his photo taken with Gerry Adams that one time?”
Seriously now is the time to be vigilant. These people will use the conflict to hide this sort of thing. Do not let them. Russia couldn’t have done this without us looking the ither way and taking their cash for years…all governments
>The WRF has hosted events with Tory MPs such as Daniel Kawczynski, Caroline Nokes, John Redwood and John Whittingdale, as well as Labour’s former foreign secretary Jack Straw. Event attendees have included Carrie Johnson, the Conservative Party’s former head of communications and now the prime minister’s wife.
>The forum’s organisers are overwhelmingly London-based, with business interests in Russia. Its chair, Nicholas Cobb, runs an energy communications firm focused on Russia and former Soviet republics, who has appeared on Russia Today as a pro-Moscow pundit.
>Ben Wells, described by WRF as its ‘in-house counsel’, is a solicitor whose London law firm specialises in work for “Russian-speaking clients”. Another of its organisers, Ernest Reid, has penned pro-Putin op-eds for Russia Today.
“Conservative Friends of Russia”
Look into Chernukhin as well, she diverted Putin cash to a lot of Tories.
At a time when Putin is making barely veiled threats to use nuclear weapons against countries in Europe, anyone *lobbying* politicians to have closer ties with Putin’s government shoudl be considered a traitor to the UK and all it’s democratic institutions, surely? If actual serving politicians are doing this, then they need to be removed from office immediately. This is what sets us apart from despots like Putin.
Unregulated, deregulation goes all the way back to Thatcher free market bollocks. Read the Private Eye report called “lootin’ with Putin” the Tory party practically runs on Russian money.
Question? Who down votes these? I have always wondered that! Reveal yourselfs! Lol and why?
