A Russian vehicle is blown up by a mine in the Donetsk region after deploying infantry in a position and attempting to leave.

  4. Close enough to catch some shrapnel. You only see where the shrapnel goes when it kicks up dust on the ground or when somebody goes down with an injury.

  8. If you go frame by frame, after the mine goes off, you can see the guy in the top right seems to have a hot piece of glowing shrapnel in his leg right by the back of his knee after.

  10. Isn’t the mine just laying in plain site on the ground in front of it. Best part is the lack of urgency to save the guys that just got mined. The not my problem of the Russian army is Epic

I’m no military expert, but it isn’t a general rule of thumb in this situation to get as far away from the drop-off point quickly because the vehicle is easier to spot and get the attention pf something explosive? Not all stand around like you’ve all just met up in McDonald’s car park for a chat.

  24. I am noticing lately, the Russians look well equipped and armed – not the typical cannon fodder.

    Would have been much better if the vehicle had run over the mine before the troops deployed.

  26. Shame it didn’t happen while they were on board. But by the looks of it the vehicle is wrecked, driver probably KIA, the rear passenger is wounded, so is the cameraman, and the dude next to him.

  28. It’s Christmas, I’m sitting on the toilet, taking a dump and watch russian vehicles get blown up and a russkie screaming in pain of his shrapnel wounds he just received. Life is good!
