    What would be the tactical point of this? Wouldn’t allowing the war to be a frontline only thing to Ukrainians, and letting the hate and bile die down a bit, be beneficial for their now 1 year+ plan of just getting Zelensky to rennounce the captured territories and go for ceasefire?

    He needs public support for that. Public support you don’t get by bombing that public on Christmas and making them thirst for revenge.

  42. I’m always amazed at the resolve of the Ukrainian defense to not stoop to their level and attack targets in Russia near civilian centers. So far all their targets within Russia have been remote military installations.
