Whilst most venues are on a holiday break, Luxembourg’s cinemas are still open for business for these last few days of the year. Catch Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu (released on Christmas Day) at Kinepolis or head to Cinémathèque to see the wonderfully apt Poor Things, Past Lives, and The Holdovers.

This show has been running non-stop this entire holiday season (including on 24 and 25 December)! If you haven’t been yet, there’s still daily shows up until early January.

Not every institution has closed its doors over the holidays. Curated by Carlitos himself, this super secret show on Saturday gives audiences a chance to get one last laugh in before New Year’s.

As part of the current ‘Black Air’ exposition at Casino, children (accompanied by their parents) are invited to explore the space on this narrated tour.

Similarly, Mudam will stay open throughout this twilight period, and even offers a guided tour in English on Sunday. What better way to cap off this passing year than with a little bit of art?
