That seems low considering the cost of a Christmas dinner etc .
Glad someone still acknowledges there is still a Cost of living crisis deepening. I thought the term had been white washed since Labour came to power…
Imagine living in a world where you have to spend money to have the things you need and want, and have no other option. Wild stuff.

If people don’t even have £700 to spend once a year, then it’s not a cost of living crisis, but plain serfdom
Might need another article to explaining how averages work and can be skewed heavily by outliers.
A lot of people won’t have 700 to spend, even though it isn’t really that much money in the context of “once a year party/present buying”
I seriously doubt how they got £700. Ours was only just over £100.
