1. The healthcare industry is going to siphon off as much of this as possible. End of life care is magically almost always going to cost the value of someone’s entire estate. Millenials and GenX aren’t getting shit unless their parents put things into a trust.

6. The majority of this money is concentrated in a few wealthy families. The majority will get next to nothing if they are lucky, a broke parent living with them if they are not.

7. Only a few million millennials and Gen Xs will inherit $83.5 trillion inheritances from their parents and grandparents. We have in the midst of Glided Age 2.0 right now.

8. My baby boomers parents are already broke. They won’t leave anything to inherit.

9. Don’t worry they’ll invest that money into fine China and collectables for everyone.

10. Gen X tacked on after millennials in the headline like an afterthought. This is our superpower.

    I’ve seen multiple articles of boomers who plan to leave nothing behind. Even their houses have reverse mortgages so the bank gets it when they die.

    The few that are planning to leave something are going to be drained dry by our healthcare system and the privatization of Medicare.
