What revenge? President Trump won a landslide victory and Cheney is out of office and irrelevant.
But there is solid evidence she broke the law and no one is above the law, or so the democrat party has been telling me.
Trumps only back for his vengeance tour…and burning what’s left of this country to the ground.
What good is a pardon if Trump doesn’t respect the laws of the US?
Part if me wants her pardoned and part of me wants to see how far Blump can get in an actual court with his bullshit
He is messing with the wrong family. Dick Cheyney will run circles around Trump and his cadre of attorneys.
The only reason someone needs a pardon is because they broke a law …. It’s astounds me how much y’all just glaze over that last bit.

As soon as this incoming admin is over and the next one comes in, the revenge level will be off the charts.
I wouldn’t protect any of the Republicans. She would be a great President if they supported honest people. We are way past that day, so lets watch them feast on a few of their own. The stench will rise and in a few years they will all deny being involved. As a matter of fact in 2025 the Republicans will claim the Democrats are cannibals.
What, only the Dems can engage in lawfare?
Nope. Can’t pre-pardon a noncrime. Stop suggesting shit that not only can’t happen but won’t do anything if done.
Cheney had enough money and pull to squash trump and instead brought him to the white house and regretted it.
Meet your consequences. This is your party, Liz
Yep, Trump using the legal system and political levers to attack political opponents is going to push the guardrails of our system to the limit if not completely break them.
Who knows if a pardon could work, because she and others would have to admit guilt for a nonexistent crime.
But this is the type of insanity that happens when you elect a fascist.
So he wants to prosecute anyone who had the effrontery to investigate his relationship to the January 6th sedition.
He needs to get off the merry-go-round of prosecuting people who officially investigated the dubious legality of his actions. Instead he’s like a fat kid yelling “faster faster” while he waves his donut in the air and tries to hang on.
From the article:
“The Case for a Biden Pardon
While Trump’s and the GOP’s accusations against Cheney are unlikely to lead to any successful prosecution, the message they send is clear: If you stand up to Trump, you will pay a price. This is why a broad, blanket pardon for Trump’s critics is becoming an increasingly urgent necessity. A pardon would offer protection to those who have testified, investigated, or spoken out against Trump’s actions, ensuring they are not targeted in future retribution campaigns.
Without such protections, individuals like Cheney—and many others who have dared to oppose Trump—will continue to be subjected to a cycle of political punishment. The threat of retaliation will only grow, stifling dissent and chilling the willingness of others to speak the truth. In the end, the attacks on Cheney are not just about her—they represent the broader dangers of allowing Trump’s revenge-driven politics to take hold.
A pardon for Trump’s critics would serve as a safeguard for the integrity of American democracy. It would make clear that those who defend the truth, even when it goes against powerful figures, should not be punished for their actions. If we allow this vendetta-driven politics to continue, we risk undermining the very foundation of our democratic institutions, where free speech and the pursuit of justice should remain protected from political retribution.
The ongoing assault on Cheney is just one example of what could be a much wider effort to silence and punish anyone who challenges Trump and his allies. If we are to protect our democracy from further erosion, a pardon for those who have stood up for the truth is not only necessary—it’s urgent.”
Begging for a pardon makes her look *really* guilty.
A pardon has to have an admition of guilt. She’s not guilty of breaking any law. She broke no laws!
Hello! Sleepy Joe. Don’t forget to pardon Liz Cheney.
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Shut the MAGA mouth up.
No, it’s not.
Pardoning someone requires an admission of guilt, and they are guilty of nothing.
It may be essential to keeping them out of jail (we’ll see) but this is an example of “complying in advance” and he should not pardon them and they should refuse if he does.
These people are all full grown adults *with political power* and they knew the risks going into this endeavor and to offering (or accepting) a pardon would make a mockery of it.
I wish they would go after her dad who is by far the biggest villain of this century. Responsible for way more deaths then Putin
