The world calls for immediate withdrawal of China’s military base in international waters and restoration of the damaged ecosystem.

China can “call” for whatever it wants, but those missiles WILL stay right where they are, and for good reason!
China’s strategy for a war in the Pacific is to leverage volume of land based missile systems along their coast to compensate for deficiencies in PLN tonnage & logistics. The US putting similar systems on land, and empowering countries with weaker navies to hit back, equalizes that land advantage. Now if a conflict breaks out China has to commit to match the system in the Philippines, which is within range of HK. Combined with Japan & SK to the East, China’s coast will be mostly surrounded by countries with big sticks.

Who the fuck are they!? We have a relationship with The Philippines and have agreed toa mutually beneficial relationship. As a sovereign nation the Philippines can do whatever they want with whoever they want.

When China does this, it means that it’s a system that fundamentally alters the planning they already have done for the region, and messes up their balance sheet. Guess they were counting on their victims not hitting as hard.
