The 34th annual Evening for Northeast Pennsylvania’s Environment was recently held at the Woodlands Resort, Wilkes Barre. The Forest City Outdoor Town Action Team was nominated for an Environmental Partnership Award by the Rails to Trails Council, Lynn Conrad. Awards are presented for achieving excellence in environmental protection or conservation and the recipients must have demonstrated the quality of involving and working successfully with others in pursuit of their accomplishments.
