I’m not surprised. She was the head of a reformed Catholic church. The English tolerate Presbyterianism for the sake of unity but they, like the rest of us, think that the cultish devotion to the cousin-husband of a long dead queen is just plain weird.

Generally the royals have a dim view of all plebeians regardless of who they are or what they do. They only give any sort of passing interest to their subjects because of what happened to Charles I. They think we are all scum.
Alas, there will always be those that love the taste of boot and the Orange Order have an unhealthy appetite for it.
Especially when their football team didn’t pay HMRC and folded.

The only people who don’t are orange people themselves or rangers fans (even then I bet most rangers fans wish they would disappear)
