2. A former president of Brazil is half Bulgarian. It’s not very important but i still find it hilarious

3. I’d add to the Germany one: “Bulgaria was forced to join the Axis during World War II but managed to save their Jewish population and used them as free labor workers, however they shipped all of Macedonian Jewish population to the death camps.
