  1. That’s the ‘calhau’. You throw it at your neighbor’s window

  2. Thin slices, put them on the toaster, toast again, butter (will boil), add a little of rock salt if you want, repeat until broa is gone

  3. Alone or with butter and ham like normal bread.
You can also toast it. I like it very much Lidl one is a bit sweet but still good

  4. It’s broa de milho, yes. I eat it plain (goes great with vegetable soup), or with butter, cheese, honey, jam, olive paste… pretty much anything you’d be willing to eat with bread. Bom apetite!

  5. a badly made broa de milho. you can eat it however you want, some people like to dip it in olive oil

  6. It’s broa de milho doce as you are saying. You can eat it with anything you want. It is a type of bread.

For me is awesome if you put it in the toast for a while to reheat it and add some butter.

  7. To me it’s a better version of bread for certain dishes, like grilled sardines, caldo verde and other traditional/rustic dishes.

That one is too dense, the good ones are more airy and should crumble relatively easily when baked properly.

  8. Seems similar to sweet corn bread as the name suggests so you can go from there. I personally don’t really like anything sweet that looks dry as shit so can’t help you here.
